Marijuana To Give A Start In Commissioners’ Agenda

Caregivers are designated by medical marijuana patients as people who grow the patients plants for them. Normally, there’s a limit of six plants per patient, but there are instances where patients get expanded plant counts or caregivers take on multiple clients, resulting in home-based grows of dozens of plants. If the commissioners delay a decision on the home-grow ordinance, there still will be plenty of marijuana issues on Mondays agenda.

There is an application for a retail grow facility in Rye, a medical marijuana center and grow house on the St. Charles Mesa that was continued from last month, another medical marijuana-infused products license to go with an existing store on the Mesa and a new retail marijuana store in Pueblo West. There also is a renewal for The Spots medical center and grow license.
